  Introduction

The concept of “Giving Back” was part of the DNA of our Company from the start and was an important reason why many agents and employees have been attracted to our company.  Through our ALC – Agent Leadership Council, we started a KW Ottawa Cares Committee as a vehicle to give back to local and international charities. The KW Ottawa Cares Committee has been our most active and passionate ALC committee. It has grown and matured over time by adding “Family Matters” and “Agent Driven Charity” initiatives.  The start of the “Foundation for Giving” is an important milestone for KW Ottawa coincidentaly during our 10th Anniversary.  The “Foundation for Giving” gives purpose and significance corporately for what we do.  Good businesses make a profit.  Great businesses make a profit and give back in a meaningful way. We are building a great business! 

The “Foundation for Giving” formalizes our Canadian Charitable status and broadens our appeal both internally in our company and with the public as a vehicle to help support many local and international charitable needs.
